WINNER MARINE series is a closed type series of dual purpose with deep cycling characteristics that is eminently suitable for the power supply of auxiliary services on marine applications, as well as for the power supply of caravans / camping / generators / inverters / UPS systems etc.
WINNER MARINE is made of solid plate, which ensures high strength and has Super Heavy Duty (SHD) operation features, thanks to the specially forged lead-calcium grid of expanded metal for both the positive and negative plates with enveloped separators of low resistance.
WINNER MARINE is designed so that electrolyte decrease remains at an extremely low level due to the advanced and patented double lid of “labyrinth” type . The high purity of the lead alloys and the state-of-the-art technology applied to the battery plate ensure the lowest possible self-discharge, significant grid corrosion resistance, overload resistance and the best possible protection against gases produced during battery operation and thermal runaway. These features provide long life and high performance, even during long periods of inactivity. In addition, the battery includes a flame arrestor for maximum safety against any flammable gases from the outside and full protection against any loss of sulfuric acid.
WINNER MARINE has a built-in charge indicator, which displays the state-of-charge of the battery. The indicator is also used to determine the battery recharge time as follows:
- The green indicator shows a state-of-charge above 70%. The minimum charging time is 8 hours.
- The black indicator shows a partial state-of-charge. If the state of charge is between 50 and 70%, the minimum charging time is 12 hours. If the state of charge is less than 50%, charging time up to 24 hours is required.
- In case of no indication, the battery is discharged and a charging time of up to 24 hours is required.
